WoodBrook at Randolph is a newly developed luxury rental community in Randolph, New Jersey, featuring 102 Signature Carriage Homes with attached garages and two full levels of living space, alongside 97 Classic Apartment Flats located within a distinguished Manor Building.
At the center of the community is a thoughtfully designed clubhouse offering resort-style amenities, including a pool, fitness center, yoga studio, and social spaces that reinforce the project’s upscale character. Every architectural element was designed to communicate refinement, durability, and timeless appeal.
Our longtime partner, Woodmont Properties, approached this project with a clear objective: create a sophisticated exterior material palette that would distinguish Woodbrook at Randolph in a competitive luxury market. The architecture, led by HDS Architecture, Inc., called for a stone profile that felt modern yet enduring - clean in form, balanced in tone, and cohesive across multiple building types.
Rather than selecting a standard color from our library, we collaborated closely with the development and design teams to create an entirely custom stone colorway for the project's exterior.
The end recipe was named Woodmont — a project-specific colorway developed exclusively for this community. Handcrafted in our timeless Ohio Drystack profile, the blend features:
- Layered mid-tone grays for depth and structure
- Warm tan undertones
- Subtle black highlight overlays to add contrast and dimension
The composition was carefully balanced to feel contemporary without becoming trend-driven — ensuring long-term architectural relevance.
